Logitech m100 mouse scrollwheel not working

I have a Logitech m100 USB mouse (very basic, two buttons & scrollwheel) hooked up to my iMac 12,2 which has worked flawlessly with past systems (10.6-10.11). After upgrading to macOS Sierra, the scrollwheel now seems to have a threshold speed at which you must be rolling it before it works. If you move the scrollwheel slowly on, for example, a web page to scroll down the page, it will never scroll. This doesn't happen with my Apple wireless mouse.

I didn't miss the point. I re-read the terms & you have to read the legalese multiple times to understand it, if ya aren't a lawyer. & the terms are a very broad-brush demand for Apple to be the only purveyor of information about betas. It would be very interesting to see how a lawsuit based on the terms vs. a revealed bug fix would fare in court. Probably about as well as some employee agreements - it's not all black & white, just shades of gray. I for one is very glad my mice work as they should; that it took 2 releases before it got fixed is curious.
