iOS 10 Bluetooth Keyboard Home Button Issue?

Does anyone experience the problem of the Bluetooth Keyboard Home button in iOS 10?

If you pair a new Bluetooth Keyboard, the Home button of the keyboard works fine at that moment. However, if you disconnect the keyboard, lock the iOS screen, then reconnect the Bluetooth keyboard. The Home button of the BT keyboard can only wake the screen up. It cannot trigger Siri anymore.

I tested the following keyboards and button, they all have the same problem! The same scenario works fine in iOS 9 or earlier versions.

Microsoft Universal Foldable Keyboard (Model 1695)

Satechi iOS BT Home Button

All Bluetooth Keyboards-OTHER, iOS 10

Is there any progress on this issue? I can't use my Satechi bluetooth home button or any other bluetooth keyboard's home button with IOS 10. Any workarounds or fixes still not available? Unbelievable.

No, I don't think so. There isn't any work around to make it work again. We can only hope Apple would notice this some day some time and get it fixed...

I gave up and returned it to Satechi for a refund. I regretted having to do this because when it worked, I liked the Home Button.

I just update to iOS10.2. The update list including 3rd party bluetooth issue fix. But after update, Satachi home still not work. Do someone get problem fixed?

Same here. I so hoped the next update will fix that issue, but even iOS 10.2 didn't. I hope Apple will care of us one day.

Actually the Satechi Home-Button still works, but only one time after I reastart my phone or reenable the touch-ID. So technicals it should be possible to make it work again for good.

Same here. Don't know what Apple exactly fixed regarding the 3rd party Bluetooth issue mentioned in the release note.

I also hope Apple gets its act together and fixes this issue in the next update. If they can't fix 3rd party Bluetooth keyboards they should allow us to go back to IOS9, which I was perfectly happy with.

I was talking about 10.3, but now 10.3.1 is released as well. I am unable to update my phone right now, so would appreciate if anyone updated could try if the button works now.

I tested on ipad 2 air with latest apple update. Unfortunately still don't work, even then device is unlocked satehi button don't activate voice recognition......
