Reminders in iOS 10 is not working correctly .

When a reminder pops up in the lock screen, you used to be able to slide it over to acknowledge it. Now you have to go the extra step to view it first. Then it may or may not give you the option acknowledge it, set a reminder. If it does happen to give you options to acknowledge it, it won't function at all. I can push any button but nothing will happen.

And it is hit or miss if the reminder will show up on the phone at all! I see the reminder on my mac and my watch but not my phone! Something aint right!

This should be support for an iOS 10 App right, but it is not allowing me to select that community! Agh!!!

Also very strange when I turn on airplane mode on the watch and leave it on iPhone on, then reminders work on iPhone and watch again. Of course the Apps on the watch don't connect to iPhone at that time. Am I missing something here? What am I doing wrong or what is broken? I even installed public beta on watch and iPhone in the hope that it would be fixed but sadly no.

I am one of the original posters of this issue (and an AAPL shareholder).

It is still an issue and works sporadically even with the most recent update to iOS.

However, the workaround is that I installed a free app called "Alarmed" and cleared all the original iPhone reminders, and now everything works great (through the Alarmed app).

However, (posted in a separate thread), Voicemail now has issues that brick the phone!

Tsk, tsk. Oh well, I have faith that all of these bugs will get solved.

My reminds remain fixed as of today (just tested now). I even tested my calendar notifications (which had previously stopped working as well), and that seems to be fixed for me too.

What version of Mac OS are you guys on (if this even applies)? I wonder if that might have anything to do with it as well? (I wonder this only because throughout the period when my reminders weren't working, they would still show up in my desktop notifications.. so I wonder if it's a synching issue.)

Anyway, I'm on Mac OS Sierra 10.12.1, and iOS 10.1.1, might be worth a look.

Even after updating my iPhone 6, with the latest update, and updating my MacBook Pro with the latest update, I am STILL missing many of my Reminders. I'm trying to narrow the problem down. It appears that I am getting my Reminders onto my iPhone IF I happen to also have my MacBook Pro open (and not in screensaver mode). If my MacBook Pro is in screensaver mode, or if I'm out and about, I'm only getting about half of my Reminders on my iPhone, until I reboot my iPhone....then the rest of them appear. It's not exactly convenient to reboot my iPhone three times a day, JUST to see if I missed any reminders. The same reminders that don't appear on my iPhone, also don't appear on my day job's computer screen, when I am logged into iCloud.com. I used to get pop-up reminders on the tab of my iCloud.com page.

My issue was both on the default calendar app as well as the Outlook calendar app stopped working with the reminders.

The "force restart" fixed my reminder issue. ✅

On an iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold both the Sleep/Wake and Volume Down buttons for at least ten seconds, until you see the Apple logo.

I wonder if Apple, other than monitoring profits, monitors our problems here!!!😠

Im really fed up with this issue!!!!!!!!!!!!

Reminders is one of the reasons I use the iphone in the first place!!!

Saves my work!!!!

Not to mention that the app *****!!!! Even android got better at this!

If you want to add a reminder you have to be at the "scheduled" list or else the setting of time and date is set to off by default. How stupid is that??? It's a reminder app, not a note app!!!!!

And WHY IN THE WORLD cant we see our reminders in the calendar???? (android does that too!!!!!)

And now comes this problem that reminders don't ring and not even a badge for the app icon.

But Ok, Note 7's explode and Apple is counting profits!!!!!! 😠😠😠

Who has time to listen to the users???????
