Reminders in iOS 10 is not working correctly .

I have never had the Reminders widget on my home screen and yet my reminders only work periodically, which is useless. I have been an Apple supporter since the Apple IIe and bought one of the original 128k Macs and the original iPhone. Apple is NOT the company I used to respect. I still hold over 1000 shares but I believe it's time to get out.

This is also a problem for me. When and if the reminders do come up at the time I set for them to go off, then they stay on the lock screen even after I have marked it completed. The only way to get rid of it is to turn my phone off and back on again, which is a total pain. And I tried setting a location reminder today for when I got home and it didn't work at all. Might as well not even set it. Come on Apple, this is a major issue you here. You need to fix this problem. And it should be fixed quickly.

This did not help for me at all. I got rid of all the widgets and it still won't alert me. And if it does, then the alert won't go away unless I restart the phone.

None of these ideas have worked. Also got a new iPhone 7 and the issue persists, apple, come on, fix this core issue!

Extraordinary, Apple seem determined to degrade their software with every update. Every 'improvement' to all of their software brings more problems, maybe they don't wish to employ capable programmers and that is why they have such huge cash reserves. I used to be such a fan of Apple and would extol the virtues of having a Mac, now I tell people how useless it is becoming and that it is getting worse, I only bought an iPhone (6S) for the first time within the last year and am disappointed. What is the point of having Reminders if they are unreliable? Even one important reminder gone AWOL is enough to make the system useless.

My reminders are also not reliable anymore since iOS 10 got installed. I have a reminder set for 7 days a week but it only works about 5 of those days. I get no alert, no badge icon, nothing. If I open the reminders app it always shows that 1 overdue reminder though.

Today is the third day this week my reminder has failed. I have a daily reminder set for midnight, and so far this week it failed to work Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday night. I have complained to apple countless times already but they have yet to acknowledge this bug. If I can't depend on my phone anymore then apple has lost all my future business.

So true!!! It is not working for me either.. so frustraiting

Did you set up your SE as new or from older iPhone?

I have set it up from the old backup. (older IPhone 5S). And yes, I have some reminders which was created previously with this older IPhone.

As for my iPhone 6s:

It was a fresh install.

It's because of the darn "widgets". Removed Reminders from the widgets and it notified me like clock work.

Don't think so my friend. Many of us tried that and the fix was only temporary but...

Keep an eye out and inform us after a few days of testing.

Tried your suggestion but the widget was enabled as intended.

Can this be a hardware issue,anyone knows?

I tested as stated with new ios 10.3 (one reminder each hour). First 18 hourly reminders worked ok. But number 19 failed.

I will try again just in case it was an isolate case... 😟
