MacOS Sierra Volume Balance Error

Hello,

I found this error recently on my macbook pro retina 13' late 2013 model ( latest macOS Sierra )

Everytime i boot up or restart my macbook, & unplug-replug the External DAC the volume balance is off to the left

This problem only occurred once, after i set to the center, its works fine until next boot.

Im using an external DAC (USB), this problem only occurred on this external DAC, on previous OS this is not happening. I've been using my external DAC since 2010 macbook lineup, its never have this error.

Can someone explain what happened ? And Maybe some solution will be very much appreciated !
Thank You !

Hi Shigeur,

My mac is a pro retina 13' late 2013 model like you and I have got the EXACT SAME problem. I guess it's happening since macOS Sierra. My Mac doesn't save settings of my external DAC and the sound is unbalanced every time I switch on my DAC or if I reboot my mac, etc. I was hoping macOS 10.12.1 would solve the issue but it doesn't.

If someone has got a solution I'm all ears ! Thank you.
