MacOS Sierra Volume Balance Error

Hello,

I found this error recently on my macbook pro retina 13' late 2013 model ( latest macOS Sierra )

Everytime i boot up or restart my macbook, & unplug-replug the External DAC the volume balance is off to the left

This problem only occurred once, after i set to the center, its works fine until next boot.

Im using an external DAC (USB), this problem only occurred on this external DAC, on previous OS this is not happening. I've been using my external DAC since 2010 macbook lineup, its never have this error.

Can someone explain what happened ? And Maybe some solution will be very much appreciated !
Thank You !

Apple will not cease making changes to macOS, or invest in the testing of any/every third-party product against older/newest Mac models that run evolving releases of OS X/macOS. What you want apparently, is Apple to cease development (changes), or test your specific 2010 DAC for compatibility, and make fixes — so you can experience static compatibility of your 2010 DAC. Wishful, but not pragmatic thinking.

Everyone of us experience a point where we are faced with a decision to replace third-party products that no longer work, or have unexpectedly, lost functionality, with Apple's evolving operating system releases. The maker of your DAC, may have a newer DAC that is fully functional with macOS Sierra, or not. A $6 software fix may be all you need, or the fruit of a new DAC purchase decision. As time goes by, this paragraph repeats itself.

Apple is about change, not position. Sometimes, it is an irritation.

Alright, maybe im just hoping too much here, i choose mac os because thinking its reliable and stuff like that, remember the first windows was introduced plug and play, and it goes kapooww and bluescreen in front of the whole of the world. But now windows 10 in my mac it seem can keep my old dac working normally... that the reason i keep thinking theres a glimpse of hope that it can be resolved by apple itself.

If it aint broken why you need a new one ? Since its still doing fine enough, One of the simplest logical thinking.

Not going to argue, you're right. And ill close this question. Thanks for people who contribute here :)

*i have an old iphone 6s and iPad 4, i love apple and trust it for the reliability because thinking its smaller closed OS ecosystem was the best, but here is it. Thanks for opening my mind.

Have a nice day !
