Mac Book goes into sleep mode when fully charged

This issue is happening on a MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid 2012).

If the charger is plugged in and the laptop charging with the lid closed, the laptop goes into sleep mode if left like this once the battery reaches full charge. I am not sure of the exact time frame, though this happens every night at least if left to charge, and a couple of times during the day if I leave the laptop for a while. (Assuming ~1 hour).

While not really critical and I never lost data, its getting more and more annoying having to wait for the laptop to restart from sleep mode every time. This is the only mac book I have with this issue.

If anyone has any idea's I would really appreciate it.

Thanks

Hmm, well luckily for me my Mac Book only goes to sleep if the power is plugged while the lid is closed.

If it went to sleep everytime I closed the lid I would have thrown it out of the window years ago 😉

I'll try the application listed in the post though and see if it turns off again later tonight and let you know.

It would be rather annoying though to have to use a 3rd party app to fix.

Thanks
