Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
My iPhone 7 only works 1/2 of the time with the headphone to lightning jack. I have to answer or start a call, then I can plug in my headphones. If I start the call with the headphones in, no one can hear me.
Anyone else notice this issue?

Just got new lightning earphones, but when I tried plugging into iPad, played through speakers.
Fix: shut dow iPad, restart with lightning earphones plugged in (I'm not sure if that is really required, but it worked for me). Sound now plays through lightning earphones on iPad (iPad Pro 12", iOS 10.2).
I did this a long time ago and I did this and I never felt with this problem ever again. Try blowing in the lightning port

My iPhone 7 doesn’t recognize my headphones. Was working fine yesterday and tried new headphones still no good! What’s up?
Check the Lightning connector on the iPhone and clean out any lint/debris that you find. Use a toothpick.
