Siri cannot hear me on my iPhone 7 Plus

I have a week-old iPhone 7 Plus, yesterday i noticed that Siri cannot hear me, nor does Dictation work unless I'm using Bluetooth headphones or connected to my car via Bluetooth. Seems like a hardware issue... Anyone else have this issue and am I likely to be without a device during repair?

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities, and congratulations on your new iPhone 7 Plus! I'm understanding, based on your post, that you are having some difficulty getting Siri and Dictation to work without using Bluetooth. I know both Siri and Dictation can be very helpful and convenient features, so I definitely want to help make sure everything is working as expected!

My first recommendation is to turn Bluetooth off on your iPhone 7 Plus by swiping up from the center of your screen to access Control Center, as described under the "Open Control Center" section of this article: Use Control Center on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

With Control Center open, tap the Bluetooth button

to turn Bluetooth off, then test Siri or Dictation. If it works while Bluetooth is off, it's possible one of your Bluetooth devices is connecting, even when you don't need it to.
