Mail Account Access after BT password change
The recent well advertised Yahoo security issues have had BT issue instructions to change email passwords. This I have done to one of my 4 'btinternet.com' email addresses.
Having changed the password Mail is not recognising the new password and yet I can access through BT Webmail with no problem.
Have spoken to BT this evening - but they were unable to resolve the matter stating that the problem is with my Apple Product, not with BT, and that other Mac users have had similar issues. That would seem to be the case as I can access the changed password email via BT Webmail but not via 'Mail' on my Mac.
BT have placed a 5 day guillotine on email addresses - they will be blocked if users have not changed their passwords by then!!
Any answers to this glitch please?
