Wish to cancel booking at Genius Bar

Read the thread first. Then you will learn how to cancel an appointment. This is a user to user forum. There is nothing we can do about this.

You have to do that yourself. This is a user to user forum and Apple is not here. Since you obviously did not read any part of this thread, read the post just above yours from September 22nd.

Read the responses above yours. You cannot cancel a Genius Bar appointment here, and no one will respond to your email request. Also, posting your email address on a public international forum is one of the worse things you can do, unless you are wanting to get spammed by all sorts of junk mail.

Why is it so difficult to cancel a genius bar appointment? There is no link on my email to cancel. When I log into my account and go to Manage Reservations, it shows my reservation but there is no way to cancel from there. So sadly, I will be a "no-show" but it is not for lack of trying. Come on Apple, you're better than this!

I'm not sure why you don't see it. And, you also have the option to call the individual store to cancel.

After making a Genius bar appointment over the phone last week for today at 16:05 at the Regent Street store, since I never received a confirmation email, I can't cancel it myself and wanted to let you know that I won't be able to come today.

I will rebook online today.

Same here. Apple Store nearby looks great but cannot find anywhere on the webpage to Cancel/Change appt. Very frustrating since it takes so long to get an appointment to begin with. Apple could do with a makeover of their scheduling processes.

Not on this occasion. When I’ve tried to call the store previously I’ve never gotten through. Either engaged or no answer. I appreciate a lot of people don’t turn up but customers should have the option to cancel/reschedule.

None of these replies are correct! I've tried to cancel my appointment for an hour, including using these suggestions!! None of these screens show on the Broadway Apple Store in Walnut Creek, CA.

The Apple website is the worse I've ever worked with, and I was working in the Financial Performance Business for almost 35 years.

First, it's impossible to make an appointment online without doing a live chat. Now, after making three appointments at the store, and asking for one of these to be cancelled, which they did not do, I cannot cancel it myself!

Everyone says Apple is intuitive, but that's completely untrue. I hate trying to use their website or any of the answers to questions I have regarding the simpliest issues.

Thank you for sharing that information. I just want to be sure I understand what you said. Are you saying that you have not made an appointment at an Apple Store? If so, i am not sure why you posted that or what you would like us to do.

I did not address my reply to you. Check my post, I replied to the last poster who, after multiple tries by various volunteers to say that we cannot help, is still expecting us to cancel an appointment for them.

No email address can be used to cancel ?! Only telephone? But it is very difficult to get through, long time waiting.
