I saw in other forums that a device may be in development that would allow z-wave devices to bridge to the homekit platform. I was asking if anyone knows if there's such a device on the market or if there's plans for one.

Oh, that's certainly true, at least according to some of the people here. But, if the device doesn't work with HomeKit, it's also within reason that people who are experts in HomeKit wouldn't know much about it.
