HOw do I Remove email address from mail on my iPad 2
iPad, iOS 4.3.2, It is now iOS 6.1
1. Compose/create a new mail
2. Start typing the email address
3. To the right of the email address, there should be a blue circle with 'i' in it or a blue arrow (iOS 6 or older). Tap it.
4. Tap 'remove from recent'
Are they set up as one of your contacts ? If he/she is you can go into the Contacts app and change/remove their email address.
If their email address shows when starting to type in an address on an email, and if the above doesn't remove it, the only way that I know to remove old or unwanted email addresses is to restore back to factory defaults (which I assume that you won't want to do).
If you want to remove an email account from the Mail app go into Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars (Settings > Mail > Accounts on iOS 10), select the account, and tap 'Delete Account'
