Is Microsoft Office 2011 Mac compatible with OS Sierra
I'm still running Microsoft Office for Mac 2011 on iMac.
Wondering if this version is compatible with OS Sierra?
iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12)

tHanks. I'll try it.
Remove it correctly, per Microsofts directions.
There must be an uninstall, no?
Some versions of Office have an uninstall, some don't, I would check first.
Mine has a "remove". I'll do it tomorrow. Thanks.
Microsoft Office is not compatible to macOS (Sierra), even if you reinstall.
Error message from terminal:
Microsoft Word[757:10164] Unknown class 'LockupImageView', using 'NSView' instead. Encountered in Interface Builder file at path /Applications/Microsoft Office 2011/Office/MicrosoftSetupUI.framework/Resources/en.lproj/SetupMainWindow.nib.
This seems to be an intentional error. I guess they have never test Office 2011 on macOS.
You shall purchase Office 2016.
I have MS-Office 2011 installed and running on my MBP with MacOS Sierra.
It appears to be working fine. Microsoft support posted that support for MS-Office 2011 has not ended
So it is still supported with updates on MacOS Sierra.
Which mac os version did you upgrade from?
Im currently running on 10.7.2 (lion), will upgrading to sierra have issues with my office 2011?
Office 2011 works just fine with Sierra, you may have to remove and reinstall after upgrading.
System came with the office 2011, installer not available anymore
Download the installer from MS, do not lose your activation key.
