Safari is not showing images at random on Tumblr. (image inside)

Since the update to Safari 10 and macOS Sierra my mac is 'randomly' not showing images on Tumblr. I say random because sometimes it will load all, and sometimes it won't load half of the images. After a reload other images won't load.

When I restart Safari it will work properly but after one or two minutes it's both on the timeline and on the user-pages. For example, my page looks like this:

Any ideas how to solve? I've looked on the discussion boards but nothing recent is showing up..

Edit: I forgot to mention it is on ALL user-pages I visit. And my timeline of course is unique. I have no problem loading any of this in Safari on my iOS devices or in the Tumblr iOS apps.

I'm having the same issue on all of my devices that use safari. On my iPad and my iPhone google images will no longer expand images or navigate to images in safari. Also text boxes have stopped activating the keyboard. I have not updated any software on any of my devices recently and have not allowed any auto updates. - This is a copy paste from my gmail.

Interesting chain of events:

Completely wiped my iMac (after creating a manual back-up of my pictures and documents), reinstalled macOS Sierra, logged in on my clean set-up and without installing anything so far the issues remain(!). Though the sluggish behavior of Safari has disappeared.

Being afraid it would be some hardware issue I ran a Apple Diagnostic Information but it said all was good.

So that would rule out both my account and my iMac. I don't know where to look now because I can't imagine my router or ISP being the problem seeing on iOS all works fine..

Any ideas?

Stop! This issue is an Apple software issue with safari happening on all devices and platforms. It's not your computer or router.

Thanks Landau-Ramanjuan - I was having a similar problem to the OP, but on a different site. Doing as you suggested fixed the problem!!
