Safari uses sky-high CPU after upgrade to Sierra on Macbook Pro

Hi,

After upgrading to Sierra, I noticed that Safari uses a lot of CPU which causes fans to be very loud. I've tried pretty much anything I could find on this issue including using Firefox, but nothing has changed. Do I really need to reinstall everything??
