iphone 7 speaker issue

Hi, was the issue resolved?

I haven't had the issue since my post. But it's always been sporadic and difficult to reproduce.

I have been facing the same problem of crackling voice in my iPhone 7. That I bought a month back.

Mine does it too. I'm on my forth I phone 7 plus. With no fix still. I'm getting very upset.

Distorted sound on my iPhone 7 Plus after IOS 10.2 update , I have distortion in all sound except when I connect the phones the sound is good so i think is a hardware problem...is very bad because I bought 1300 euro phone and this is not fair ...

I too have this issue. The speaker distortion specifically in the earpiece speaker on the iphone 7 plus is horrible, i cant even listen to music it is so bad.

I have it, too. Please tell me it's a software issue. The top speaker is unbearable on movies and music.

Despite Completely resetting my phone without a restore even, the speaker is still extra burnt toast. I believe this is definitely a hardware problem. I'm setting up a Genius Bar appointment

I haven't tried FaceTime with my 7plus as I just got it Christmas Eve, but whenever I call someone I have a crackling that's annoying. The phone is being returned if there's no update for it to fix the issue.

I also just had this problem! While watching videos or playing music there would be cackling noises and pauses from the speaker. I just turned my phone on and off and now it has gone away.

I am now on my 5th iPhone 7 plus. They can't fix it or explain why it's happening but it has happened with all of them. I'm livid. Spent way too much mo Rubin this phone to have these issues

I'm in phone number 5. They all do it. I'm very upset. This was not a cheap phone

Will they change the unit? This isnt out of warranty. Yup, will definitely visit their store to have this one checked. Thank you so much!!

whenever i film on my iphone 7 (which is new) it makes a cracking sound which negates the actual sound.
