I have a Mac Pro with Firewire 400 card and a Macbook Pro 13 with Thunderbolt port.
I would like to know if I can connect these two computers with a cable.
If so what can I do with it?
Is it just for Video Display or can I use this to transfer files between computers ?
You need a FireWire 400 to FireWire 800 adapter and a FireWire 800 to Thunderbolt adapter. This works for data transfer, but not for video signals.
