Why,is,Safari,no,longer,used,by,AARP/United,Health,Care,Webster?

I'm on an iMac , 10.11.6 and using Safari 10.0. I have an account with AARP medicare health plan. They tell me they will no longer be using Safari as a web browser option due to problems with the site. I could use another browser but prefer Safari. Does anyone know if Apple is working to solve the compatibility problem, and does it apply to other sites?

Barry,

The problem exists with AARP/United Health Care/Webster, not Apple. If you need to use Safari, insist that AARP/United Health Care/Webster design their health plan site to work with Safari. They appear to be too lazy to support a common browser used by many Mac users. Don't expect Apple to adapt Safari specifically for those web designers.
