Hi Forever.hopeful,

If your Yahoo Mail links won't open up on only your iPad when clicking on them, try to check your Safari settings your iPad. Be sure that "Block pop ups" are not enabled.
Tap Settings > Safari > Block Pop ups Be sure this is off.

Thank you. That's helped. I can open them now but they don't directly open. I get the pop up box giving me the options of open, copy etc. A bit annoying but not a huge issue. Is this related to how the sender has set the link up or is it at my end?

You're welcome! This is expected behavior. When you long press a link, this menu should always open up giving you options on what you would like to do. You can use the iOS 10 User Guide to learn all of the awesome new features your new iOS has to offer!

Go to settings Email Accounts delete ones that are not working then add them back again

.
