Home (HomeKit) App Stuck on Loading accessories and scenes

I've set up HomeKit at home and it works great on my iPad, iPhone and my wife's iPhone. However I can't it to work on my daughter's ipad. When I open the app on her iPad it gets stuck on 'Loading accessories and scenes'. I can't go any further.

I've removed the app and reinstalled it. I've tried restarting the device. - No good.

When I switch off HomeKit in the iCloud settings then the app demands it be switched back on and then stalls at the same screen again.

Any ideas?

Did your restart included the following -- Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support?

Already read and +1 'd this. I've tried most of the stuff these guys tried, but neither nor I have had any success.

I managed to resolve this:

I Logged out of iCloud on my daughter's ipad. Logged in using my account and the home app launched fine. I then logged out of my account and back in with hers. Restarted the home app, and it works fine now.
