Pairing iPhone 7 with Sony Bluetooth Car Stereo

I am unable to pair my iPhone 7 with my Sony MEXBT4000p Bluetooth car stereo. I had no problems doing this with my iPhone 5s, but it will not pair with the iPhone 7. I tried rebooting the car stereo, toggling the bluetooth on the iPhone but nothing seems to work. I can only use the iPhone with a USB cord to play music. It does not work with any other function.


Any advice?
