Iphone 7 Plus Flickering screen

I have the same issue too...When I pull down notification, sometimes you would see white lines or huge white box. When you move your phone or touch something on the phone, it goes away. Hopefully just a software issue coz it seems that it only happens in the notification pull down page.

Work around would be to turn on the Reduced Transparency under General Setting> Accessibilty

I took my iPhone 7 Plus to Apple Genius Bar and they did a restore on the device as they thought that it is just a software issue. So i used it for few days then the problem appears again. Then I brought my iPhone to Apple again and they replaced the phone. So i expect that the problem won't be there anymore as this is a new device now. But just after setting up, just few hours when i got some notifications, got surprised seeing the problem appearing again. I think this is a just a software glitch which they need to fix on the next iOS update.

I guess it is a software issue coz my friend who has an iphone 6 plus said that he experience the notification flickering after ios 10 update.

So far, setting the phone to reduced transparency sort of fixed this. Read somewhere about it that it has something to do with display transistion something. Will share the write up when I see it again.

I have the same issue. Also, for me, if I try to take a screenshot of it (so I can show the behavior later), the white lines/"ghosting" goes away.

Also, there are times when I open the camera, and it goes out of focus, and to a black screen. If I flip to video, and back to camera, it is fine.

I am hoping I do not have bad hardware.

Hello, I had this issue to. I got my iPhone 7 plus from my service provider here in the Philippines, when i got home and had time to setup everything, i turned on the assistive touch and noticed that when i pulled down the notification and move around the assistive touch, the screen flickers like crazy like the LCD is broken or something, so i panicked and immediately asked my partner since he got his too a few days earlier than mine, he said its no big deal to him because he was experiencing the issue too on the notification, i didn't belive him until i was able to try it on his iPhone 7 Plus and he was telling the truth that his phone has it too. That the only time i was convinced that it was apparently an iOS issue. Hope apple fix this on the next update because its really annoying to see a flickering notification screen on a premium and flagship handset.

Hi Ice4469, I have the same issue with the screen flickering on the notification screen. Did you check with Apple on this issue?

Its a software issue according to Apple Specialist. And advises me to wait for the next update for the fix.

I have this issue when my iPhone is locked, but when i unlock my phone this bug isn't there anymore. Its not often were this issue is there i hope its a software bug

Try changing your font size to any size except for the smallest. I read this on another thread and it seems to resolve the issue (for now).

Mine flickers when I'm watching YouTube videos or Netflix idk why
