MX Master Connection
Hello,
I recently bought a Logitech MX Master and it was lovely to use for the 5 minutes it worked with the unifyer.
However, there is now no way of making it connect to my Mac.
First, I tried connecting through Bluetooth. It came up as a keyboard and I disconnected it as it wanted me to press shift on the mouse (there is no shift key on the mouse). Now it no longer comes up on Bluetooth. I've reset the bluetooth modules, removed all the bluetooth devices, deleted com.apple.Bluetooth.plist, fully shut down the Mac and turn it on again, reset the PRAM, reset the SMC, reinstalled OS Sierra and still nothing.
Secondly, the MX Master also comes with a Unifyer. Whenever I try to use the Logitech software to add a Unifying device, it simply crashes so I can't get any further.
This is driving me mad. The mouse shows up on my iPhone in bluetooth devices and works on other Macs, but I just cannot get my Macbook to recognise it.
I have an early 2011 Macbook Pro running OS Sierra 10.12.
If anyone can help you'll be a true champion of the people.
Thanks in advance,
Sam
