ID=02 error when setting up mac plus

Hi,


Just bought a mac plus with the original installer floppies. Formatted the QISK drive with disk 3 and inserted disk 1 and keep getting ID=02 whenever I click the install button

One reason could possibly be a bad or inappropriate SCSI hard disk drive driver. You may want to try another disk utility (such as Lido 7.5.6) in order to reformat/reinitialise the (external) drive.


Also, one can not rule out that the "original installer floppies" are bad. If so, you may want to install, for example, System 6.0.3 or 6.0.8 (created from 800K disk images onto DSDD/2DD diskettes using Disk Copy 4.2).
