Connection drops in macOS Sierra

Hi all,

in recent update to OSX Sierra I can see a problem that came with Mavericks (Mavericks and Failed ARP causing network drops!) and start again. But in this case I cannot fix it. It only occurs in the LAN in the office and with the WiFi and wired connection:

test@Mac:~ ➜ ping google.com

64 bytes from x.x.x.x: icmp_seq=21 ttl=51 time=8.106 ms

The connection drops in this case are more frequently but are more short and it is specially annoying using ssh connections or skype calls.

I suspect that this problem is similar to the previous but I cannot hit the correct key.

Anyone has the same problem?

All this shows is that you are suffering some degree of packet loss to external networks the reason for which could be as simple as an external router anywhere in the path between you and google suffering congestion and deciding to drop ICMP packets which is a fairly common response especially in the days of DDoS. This does not necessarily suggest a loss of connectivity.

I put a ping to google.com but the loss of packages is in the LAN too. Ssh connections to local machines and Skype calls have this problem. Other systems as Windows or Linux haven't this problem doing ping to google.com or other LAN server. My Macbook with El Capitan version worked well. The problem has come with Sierra.

This issue is with one network element in the LAN and OSX Sierra. I am almost convinced that a proper configuration in Sierra fix the problem like it occurred in Mavericks
