Hi joelfrommonroe,

I understand that your Socks app is giving an error stating that your network is unavailable. The first thing I'd like to have you check is to make sure that you have cellular data turned on for the Stocks app. To check, go to Settings > Cellular. Scroll down till you find the Stocks app and then make sure the switch is toggled to the "On" position. If you have that turned on, you can toggle it off and back on and then try again to access the app. If this message occurs while using your data, try enabling your Wi-Fi connection. You may also want to reset your iPhone's network settings.

Reset your Network Settings.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that you've used before.

If you can‘t connect to a cellular network or cellular data

After verifying that your network connection is stable, try force closing the Stocks app then launching it. Force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch .

These procedures should have your Stocks app working as expected. Thanks for posting in Apple Communities. Have a nice day.
