iPad mini 4 will not pair with sol republic shadow earbuds

I can not get my iPad mini 4 to pair with my shadow earbuds although the shadow pairs with my iPad and both my television sets. The mini just searches. It can't find the shadow. I have the latest os on both iPads. Any suggestions?

iMac, iOS 6.1.2

Many thanks Brenden. I found the answer earlier today in that I have two iPads with the same name. I changed the name on my iPad mini and was able to pair.
