Jan 5, 2012 - Internet Sharing works for nearly all versions of Mac OS X, from 10.6, to OS X 10.7 ... Mac will
broadcast a wifi signal that can be used by another Mac, PC, iPad, ... There is only a wired internet connection
(ethernet) available, and you ... at this point, whether it's another Mac, a Windows PC, linux box, XBox, ...

to the Internet over Wi-Fi, and I need to get my Windows desktop PC
Another option may be to use Help in the OS X to see if 'share wifi' or 'create

OS gets older sometimes the Help viewer does not provide as useful results.
Hopefully you can make the Mac be seen as an internet sharing hot spot;
although it must be left in throughout the duration for this to function. Wi-Fi
does not work on a Mac when it goes to sleep; and also can be slower than
expected if the shared use of the local source has limited bandwidth.
Good luck & happy trails! 🙂
