Why does my Mac keep logging me out?

When I'm in full screen on chrome watching Netflix three times in a row my Mac has simply logged me out for no reason. The first time I was trying to get out of fullscreen via the escape key and the mac logged me out and now it just logs me out on its own after some time in full screen. Does this have anything to do with OS Sierra?

MacBook Pro 13-inch, mid-2012

2.5 GHz Intel Core i5

4 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB

Mac OS Sierra 10.12

MacBook Pro, macOS Sierra (10.12)

How are your Energy Saver configs?

Yeah, it's only when the computer is in full screen and b/c I only really use fullscreen for Netflix use it only happens on Netflix. The screen flickers a couple seconds before the forced logoff, plus for a split-second the screen is highlighted blue and then I get kicked out and have to log back into my Mac.
