Deleting all messages from iWatch

Hi

The Mirror my iPhone setting relates only to how you are notified about new messages. (If you instead choose Custom, you can control whether your watch shows alerts, whether sound and/or haptic alerts are provided and how many times alerts are repeated when new messages are received).

Message deletion is not synced across devices. Messages instead need to be deleted separately on each device (this is also how the app works across any additional Apple devices, such as a computer, iPad, etc).

It is not possible to delete all messages from your Apple Watch at once.

To delete messages:

On your watch, open the Messages app (via the Home screen, which is accessed via a single press of the Digital Crown) > when viewing the conversation list, swipe left on a conversation > tap Delete / Trash.

If you would to suggest that Apple considers enabling the syncing of message deletion between iPhone and Apple Watch and/or adding an option for bulk deleting messages on Apple Watch, you can do so here:

If you find that to be too uncomfortable, you might wish to sit down and rest your arm on a desk or table whilst deleting unwanted conversations in Messages.
