change you apple ID password to a password not used by any other on line service
https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201355
and you may consider using two factor authentication
I'm not sure yet but there were several posts where messages were coming in to other devices with similar character sets, but one other post mentioned android phones today. it could be a problem with that. Either way the stolen Apple ID thing seems to be becoming a bit more common in the past few weeks but if a user has a password they use for one on line service I'm not saying Yahoo but I'm not not saying Yahoo either, and they use the same password forYahooanother web service as they do for Apple and someone hacks their Yahoo that account all they need to do is try that user/pass with Apple and without two factor authentication they can get hold of your account by hacking elsewhere. While I'm far from saying 100% certainty this is happening it's a distinct possibility.
It's not really chinese and is not connected with hacking by anyone. Your message is just being read with the wrong encoding. If you copy/paste it here I can probably decode it back correctly and tell you what it says.
No idea why this encoding glitch has suddenly started occuring to various users....
It reads "Yes, you are THE smartest girl in the room!! For all my photos afte
r rebooting phone...again, you fixed me!!X="
I wonder the the X= played a role in the problem. Another one I decoded had the same thing...

Thank you for translating that. How did you do it as Google Translate translated it into the exact same text labeling it, "English", although clearly it was not.
To decode it you have to copy/paste the text into text editor and save as utf-16 and then open as utf-8 and get rid of some extra characters. Not a practical fix for anyone...
