[Magic Mouse 2] How to turn off scroll zoom

I've been using the Magic Mouse 2 for a few months now. There's one serious flaw while using this mouse: the zoom-sensitivity when scrolling. I've searched on the Adobe and Apple forums, but I haven't found a satisfying solution yet.

The problem: accidental scrolling in Photoshop or Google Maps is causing frantic zooming. It's really annoying when I'm trying to move a layer in Photoshop; the mouse registers a subtle scroll, causing the artboard to randomly zooming in and out.

The only workaround I found online is using 'stacked panel groups', but that only seems to work in After Effects.

I hope someone can enlighten me with a solution, because it's been driving me crazy. I'd prefer to turn of this zooming by scrolling altogether. Or at least make it less sensitive. Cheers!

I had the same problem with my magic mouse and you know the right side function called secondary that pulls up the menu - I called that scroll button in the middle secondary as well and now it pulls up a sub menu instead of zooming - kind of a work around - maybe someone else can give it a better function but I am just happy that everytime I touch the canvas doesn't go zoom up to max or down to minimum.
