Airport Extreme Base Station flashing green lights from ports in rear, no connection

My Apple Airport Extreme Base Station is not working. No amber or green light on front of unit and the rear ports are flashing green. I've seen some notes saying that it could be the external power but I see power in this unit so I don't think it's that. Tried soft and hard reset but no change. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

A power supply.....either the external power supply "brick" (if you have an older flat or square version of the AirPort Extreme), or an internal power supply has failed (if you have either an older flat or square version of the AirPort, or the current tower shaped version of the product).

If your version of the AirPort does in fact use an external power supply brick, it's a longshot, and about a $20 gamble that a new external power supply might solve the issue.

If your version of the AirPort is the current "tall" or" tower" shaped model, you will need to replace the product.
