"Books" not appearing in iPad settings in Itunes

Hello,

I added PDF books to iTunes on my MacMini, in order to copy them to my iPad. Unfortunately, the word "Books" is missing in the iPad screen of iTunes, on the settings part of the screen. A good picture is sometimes more easy to explain a situation than a long text. On the attachment sent with this question, you can see the difference between the screen of my friends iPad (right side of the picture) and the screen of my iPad (left side of the picture). Although the language on the screenshots is Dutch, I guess it is easy to see the word "Boeken" (=Books) missing on the left side. Can somebody tell me how to cure the problem? Many thanks in advance!

Technical data:

MacMini mid 2011 running Sierra,

iPad model MD531NF/A, running iOS 9.3.5

OS X Yosemite (10.10.1)

I have the same issue. There is no 'Books' in the selection list

Hi,

Unfortunately, the word "Books" is missing in the iPad screen of iTunes, on the settings part of the screen.

I think you are missing 'Books' on the MacMini, and not on the iPad.

The screenshots (attachments) are not screenshots from iTunes - iPad, but screenshots from a MacMini or others computer.

Is there a Books folder in iTunes Media?

If it is missing create a Books folder.

Thanks for your support.

The folder "Books" was indeed not included in iTunes Media and I added it, as you suggested. However, this did not solve the problem. Still the word "Books" is not included in iTunes (I tried in English and in Dutch, restarting iTunes, restarting the computer...) Although I can see my PDF files, i.e. file Wilg 2016, once introduced in the library, it is impossible to synchronize it with the iPad.

Because, on another computer(I-book), I also can't see the word "Books" in iTunes, is it possible that something changed since Sierra?

Anyway, if you still understand the situation your support would be welcome!
