Adobe Flash Player shows as out of date?
I own an iMac purchased in 2015 using Safari 10.0(only), macOS Sierra 10.12, and I am having huge difficulty with many, many websites not allowing me to view video content because they say my Adobe Flash Player is out of date. I have the most recent version of Flash installed on my iMac. I do not allow auto updates. I make them tell me to update. According to the information provided within System Preferences, I have the most recent version of Flash installed, yet multiple websites give me that error message. Example, Rachaelrayshow.com is the most recent website informing me that my Flash is out of date. Is anyone else getting this message on multiple websites? I have contacted Apple, but I am told that they do not support Adobe, a 3rd party, but I have viewed video on Rachael's website before without difficulty. I'm not talking about viewing free movies on suspicious websites. I'm talking about reputable websites now never allowing me to view content because of the outdatedness of my Flash. HELP>>>? Adobe wants me to do an uninstall using their program to uninstall and then reinstall because of an error in their version. I got hacked once before on a PC through Adobe and am reluctant to use their uninstaller. HELP Please????
