When you click on the share icon in the top right hand corner of your screen, you will get several share options. One of them is to share to File. Selecting File will share your movie to your desktop (or wherever you designate).

When you click on the File option, a dialogue box appears with several settings options for Resolution, Quality and Compression.

Clicking on the little triangles will present the settings options in pop up menus. Choose the highest settings that you can (1080p or 4k, Best quality pro res, and Better Quality compression. Or, you can select Custom in the Quality pop up menu and move the slider to the right to select the highest bit rate. (I didn't show this in the below screen shot, but just showed the resolution options available for my test movie.)

The available options will depend upon the resolution and frame rate of your movie. So, if you have a 4K movie, one of the resolution options will be 4K, but this option would not be available if, say, it were a 1080p movie. You can find out what resolution your project is set at by clicking on the Settings button in the middle right hand side of your screen. The resolution will appear at the top of the resulting pop up box.

The resolution setting of your project is determined by the resolution of the first clip that you placed in your project, before placing any others. So, if you place a 720p clip as your first clip added to the project, followed by 4k clips later, the project will be set at 720p. Make sure, therefore, that your project actually is set at 4k or 1080p, and that you haven't by chance placed a lower resolution clip as your first clip, because if you have, you won't have the higher resolution options.
I hope that the above is anywhere near clear.
Best,
Rich
