Missing Software Updates

None of mine ever installed an update in the background because I have "Download newly available updates in the background" disabled. I actually called tech support yesterday about the missing update history but had to terminate the call early. I doubt I will call back unless the issue is still there after 10.12.2 is released. I can usually remember what I updated in the last 30 days. If not, I can look in System Information. 😎

I just noticed something else. Updates are not indicated in the Dock App Store icon until I open the App Store. FWIW, this all started for me when I thought I would test a couple of terminal commands suggested to fix App Store issues. I wasn't having a problem at the time. That will teach me. 😁

Very strangely I checked App Store Updates this morning and found there was one available for iTunes 12.5.3 (see my post earlier in this thread where I mention this update had already been made automatically a few days ago) so I clicked on the update and it was duly downloaded and installed (again). The installed update was then showing as installed today on the Updates page. Tonight when I went to check the installed updates page it had disappeared.

Not at all sure what is going on. Updates are being installed twice or so it appears and the Updates part of the Mac Apps Store has disappearing installed updates. This is all getting a bit silly.

FWIW, the iTunes updates went from 12.5.3.16 to 12.5.3.17. Just a minor change apparently.

But updates installed in the last 30 days is still empty for me. Does this issue continue?

They are missing on one of my Macs but not two others. I think that was my fault however when trying to get the App Store to work. Not a big deal for me. I'm assuming when the full installer of 10.12.2 comes out that will fix whatever I messed up.
