How to setup a Airport Express 1st generation

Hi, I have one old 1st generation Airport Express but the Airport Utility 6.3.5 cannot setup this base.

What step have I to take?

Thank you

You likely have the A1084 or A1088 version of the AirPort Express. Check on the side of the Express to locate the model number, which is hard to read. Unfortunately, Apple dropped support of these models about 4 years ago.

However, if you have.....or can borrow for 15-20 minutes..... a Mac running an older operating system like Leopard (10.5.x) or Snow Leopard (10.6.x) or a PC with AirPort Utility installed on the device, you can set up the older AirPort Express that way.
