live wallpaper "shifts" when set to lock screen

Ran into this problem:

Took a live photo, set to lock screen. When previewing to align the photo, upon force touch, the animation plays smoothly and as expected. The photo animates and looks very smart.

Upon confirming the photo, and visiting the lock screen to test it out in real life, upon force touch, the photo jumps/shifts to the right, and then completes the animation. Upon release of force touch, the photo goes back to the center of the lock screen, as if nothing was the matter.

Anyone else seen this? It does not happen with Apple's Stock Live Wallpapers, nor does it happen with any of my live photos when previewed in the "set wallpaper" screen.

Regards.

I figured it out finally!

It's the live photo dimensional ratio, they're wider than the phone's full screen, so when they play on lock screen it shifts because it basically un-crops and aligns the whole image to the left, so it falls off the right edge.

I fixed it by editing my live photo and cropping it to the 9:16 aspect ratio. No more shift!

Super annoying but at least there's a workaround.
