iTunes 12.5.3 crashes constantly on macOS Sierra

I've updated iTunes to 12.5.3 on macOS Sierra this morning, and now it crashes constantly. If I try to update or add to the iCloud Music Library, the application simply closes completely. When I reopen, the library is not updated. I tried restarting and reinstalling, without success. Anybody else has this problem? Is it a general issue with the new update?

iMac, macOS Sierra (10.12.1)

I have the same issue, iTunes 12.5.3.16.

I was adding songs and chaning artwork to other old songs.

iTunes started to crash.

I start again, and I see new songs duplicated but not uploaded on iCloud.

I start to sync iCloud music library and iTunes crashes when upload songs.

I don't know what to do. I logged of and log in again, but with no good result.

Exactly the same problem here. Updated to iTunes 12.5.3.16 this morning on two Macs running El Capitan. Both crash when adding an MP3 file to the library (and ultimately iCloud Music Library). I get the duplicated file upon restart. The only way to prevent crashing is to delete the file(s).

I even tried to convert the MP3 to M4A using iTunes > Convert > Create AAC Version. The new file converts fine. I delete the original MP3 and try to add the new M4A. Still crashes.

I signed out of my account, relaunched the application, and signed back in. It started to re-match the entire library, but it has not crashed yet. It hasn't finished the re-match, but no crash so far (it should have crashed by now, I think). Could this be the solution? I will get back when the re-match ends. I'll see if I get crashes again after the re-match.

I have the same issue. I started the iMac, ran the updates and iTunes was one of the updates. I started iTunes to add some songs and it just crashes over and over. I have tried at least 20 things to fix this.
