2012 2.7GHz Intel Core i7 VS 2015 2.8GHz Intel Core i7
Hi there,
I'm looking to upgrade from my 2012 MBP w/ 2.7GHz Intel Core i7 processor to the more recent 2015 MBP model, with the 2.8GHz Intel Core i7 processor.
On paper, it looks like it won't be much of a speed increase. But is that true? Will the new 2015 model fun faster and better than the 2012 model?
I'm assuming the 2015 Intel Core i7 is a newer version of the processor, and will out-perform my 2012 model. But am I correct?
I should note, I'm not looking at the new Touch Bar model because it doesn't suit my budget and workflow.
