Can my iPad become infected with virus from adult content websites?
I Am using iPad 3,storage capacity 27.1gb,operating system iOS 9
while going through a website a tab automatically pop up to tell me that my iPad has been infected by 6 viruses and the only way to save my iPad is to download onavo protect from the App Store but i am still in doubt that my iPad could get infected wi a virus!

If you're still running iOS 9.3.2, your device is vulnerable. Just like other internet connected devices, your iPad can get malware or virus (though highly unlikely) but what you describe is not it. It's a bad advertisement. Looks like Onavo is a legitimate app but I would never use apps that use scare tactics to get me to use them. Those apps are just as bad as malware/virus. Upgrade your iOS to the latest version for that device.
I spoke with Apple today. My iPad and iPhone are having problems with Facebook. I no longer receive notifications. She deinstalled and reinstalled the app on each device. The notifications were checked and accurate. Didn’t work.
i created a test Facebook accoust and had the same problem.

No you can not get a virus on an iPad unless the device has been jail broken. It is a scam. Clear Safari, and close Safari as well.
Clear Safari, Settings>Safari>Clear History and website data.
Close Safari, Press the Home button two times quickly. You'll see small previews of your recently used apps. Swipe left to find the app you want to close. Swipe up on the app's preview to close it.
That would be a scam, i would recommend to close the ad as soon as you see it pop up! So you can do you´re business.
