HP LaserJet 4000 printer using USB-to-parallel cable

I'm a new convert to mac, but I still have some PC baggage, like my parallel HP 4000 LaserJet printer. I got a USB-to-Parallel cable, and now I'm trying to install the printer.

What goes in the Device URI: box that is pre-loaded with "usb://"

Likely, filling that address in correctly will get me going.
