iPad rotation bug in iOS 10
SInce iOS 10.0, my iPad Air 2 gets stuck in landscape mode from time to time and there is no way to rotate except a reboot. This seems to be a bug in iOS 10 that needs to be addressed.

Agreed. Trouble is that it's device-specific, applies only to iPad Air 2. Keep hitting the feedback!
I have the same problem on an iPad Mini 4 - it's somewhat random however and doesn't happen consistently. I have the latest operating system.
Thanks. Will do so.
I too have an iPad Air 2 and am experiencing the rotation bug. Have posted my feedback via the form as suggested.
it's a joke. You really would think in this day in age that Apple put their #*#*# into gear and correct this issue.
As most others have done I have reported the bug to Apple.
Upgraded to iOS 10.3 on 4/1/17. So far, I have not experience the rotation bug. I will continue monitoring in hopes that it is truly fixed.
Rotation bug getting more frequent. Real pain. Next tablet is Samsung like my wife has.
Sorry to hear that. I haven't had the issue since the April update. I'm on 10.3.2 now and luckily all is still well.
I am also on 10.3.2. I tried Apple chat help, but they were no help and refused to accept that it was a bug.
That stinks. Wondering if it's somehow hardware dependent. I use an iPad Air 2. What's your hardware?
I also use Air 2. Puzzling.
I updated from iOS 10.3.1 via iTunes.
I updated via wifi. I assume I cannot reapply the update via iTunes, and will need to wait for next release?
Diana, hopefully you are on to somethin. I will wait for next update and install it via iTunes. Thanks
Quick Fix seems to work.
Simply hold the device the way the screen is stuck, lock the screen,
wait a few seconds and then turn the screen,
wait a few more seconds and unlock it.
