Copy and paste from notes to mail = Large Font!!

This worked for me:

- Copy the text from notes

- Paste into mail (font will be bigger).

- Select all the text in which is now in mail and cut (cmd-x)

- Paste the text back into place in mail (font will now be correct).

Ridiculous, right?! I was talking with a friend who said that she had been plagued with this same issue since iOS10 and we both had been waiting for a fix because surely this irritates more than just us. She found that if you click the "share" (up-arrow-in-a-box) icon in the upper right corner of the note. From there, select "copy" and it copies all of the text allowing you to paste it into an email as we used to. It's quick but does not allow you to select certain pieces of text - it's all or nothing.

The share>copy function is actually a nice idea but what's with not allowing us to do it in the selective way within the note itself that we used to be able to do? More options are always better; don't break what also works.

I have been doing it that way too. Although I feel it's totally rediculous, a pain in the *** and they should fix it ASAP.

They've got *** trying to except whatever they put out there. Flaws and all.

We wouldn't put up with this if it was any other brand's,device or operating system.

Does anyone have a tip for the same issue on iOS? Copy from Apple Notes to Gmail, large font and can’t seen to adjust the font size. The tip cut large text and repaste does not work on mobile.

Side note Evernote handles fonts and formatting worse than Apples notes.

Thanks from me, too. It also works when copying text in Notes from one account to another (eg from a note in my iCloud account folder to one in my email account folder). Now I know I can peform this little cut and re-paste trick, it is fine.

Yes. Ditch Notes and use Evernote. That's what I went for. Issue sorted.
