I bought an unlocked iphone 7 at the Apple Store.

They said they could not help me transfer my boost mobile account to the new phone. Is an unlocked iPhone 7 compatible with boost mobile?

I was wondering the same thing. I called Apple and I was told that I would be able to activate an unlocked iPhone 7 Plus from them to Boost Mobile. Then I called Boost Mobile and they told me they could not guarantee that I would be able to and suggested that I'm better off purchasing the phone from Boost. That's what I originally wanted to do but their colors and GB are limited. They only carry Jet Black and I really wanted the Gold one. I guess I'll have to settle for the black. I don't want to spend so much money on an iPhone 7 Plus only to be told I can't activate it through Boost.

That's probably something you should have asked boost mobile before you bought a new phone.

You need the A1660 CDMA iPhone 7 for compatibility with Boost Mobile. That's from a technical standpoint.

According to Boost Mobile's web site, they will only activate eligible Sprint phones on their network (aside from the ones they sell directly, that is).
