Can't dismiss iPhone alarm from Apple Watch

Ever since the WatchOS 3.1 update, I haven't been able to use my Apple Watch to dismiss alarms on my iPhone. When I hit Dismiss on the Apple Watch, the watch itself stops sounding the alarm, but the alarm continues to sound on my phone, even if they're right next to each other. This didn't use to be the case. Is this happening to anyone else, and/or does anyone know how to fix it?

Hi

The following steps may help (check after each):

Check that Wrist Detection is enabled on your Apple Watch:

On your iPhone, in the Watch app, go to: My Watch (tab) > General > Wrist Detection - turn this on.
If using a passcode, also ensure that you unlock your watch after placing it on your wrist.

Close the Clock app on your iPhone and restart both devices:

On your iPhone: double-click the Home button, then swipe up on the Clock app preview.
Turn both devices off together, then restart your iPhone first:
- Restart your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
- Restart your Apple Watch - Apple Support

Unpair and re-pair your watch:

The Watch app on your iPhone takes a backup of your watch automatically when unpairing via the app. Choose to Restore from Backup during set up. Most data and settings will be restored, with some exceptions (eg Apple Pay cards, passcode).

Thanks! Unpairing and re-pairing seems to have worked with a test alarm. I should have automatically tried that when I noticed the problem!
