How do I partition a micro sd card for use in android phone
I currently have an Android phone running Marshmallow 6.0.
This allows certain apps to be transferred to the card be treating it as internal memory (like a scratch disk);
thereby freeing up storage space on my phone for additional app storage (ones which cannot be moved to SD).
I have a 32 GB micro SD card.
The problem:
Since the SD card is seen as internal memory, the camera will not see it as external storage and will not allow me to save photos or videos to it. It saves to my phone's storage, which fills quickly (4 GB). Defeats the purpose of moving apps to the SD card.
I'd like to partition the SD card, setting up one partition as external storage and the other as internal memory.
The question:
Is this possible to to do on Yosemite? I assume I'd have to format it as MS-DOS?
