Increase Image Thumbnail Size in Folder View

I am trying to place photos in Photoshop. The thumbnails of images are sooo small I can barely make them out.

There is no image size slider at the bottom (sliders is turned on). There is no "View Options" to select.

This is a screenshot of the folder view I get. How can I enlarge these thumbnails so I am not guessing which photo I am placing in my Photoshop file?

Thanks

As your question is about a dialogue box in Photoshop you should really ask Adobe, as they designed the box not Apple. You could put the dialogue box into Column View and expand it to show you large previews, use the arrow keys to scroll up and down to select image.

You can however open a Finder window of the folder you selected, use the slider to enlarge the thumbnails, and once the image has been selected just drag it to your Photoshop icon in the dock and then it will open in Photoshop.

This screenshot is from MS Word...exact same Folder View window. Is it possible that Adobe and MS would design the exact same Folder View? I think the Folder View must be the standard provided via Apple Sierra...correct? Also, I tried your suggestion...still unable to increase the thumbnail size.

I am "Placing" an image within another image. That is different than dragging and dropping images.

Thank-you for the assistance...
